Repeat Prescriptions

Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made in the following ways:

  1. By telephone – please call receptionist after 10:30.
  2. Prescription re-order slips - which are attached to your repeat prescription.  Please tick the items you require and either hand the slip in at the surgery or hand them into the chemist.
  3. By email to gram.torphins@nhs.scot
  4. We are offering online services for ordering repeat prescriptions. All patients have to do is complete the registration form and hand it into reception. Registration Form

The doctors will do their best to attend to your request as soon as possible. Please do not wait until you are almost out of medicine before requesting more and allow 3 days for the chemist to process your request.

The local chemist collects prescriptions from the surgery twice daily so you can go directly to pick-up your medicines.  You can also collect them from the surgery yourself but if someone is picking-up your prescription on your behalf, please mention this to the receptionist at the time of our order.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see a doctor or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and you could be asked to make an appointment.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
