When We Are Closed
Between 18:00 and 08:00 Monday to Thursday and 18:00 on Friday until 08:00 on Monday the surgery is closed.
The out-of-hours emergency service is provided by NHS 24 and GMED and can be contacted on 111. This is a freephone number for both landlines and mobile phones.
Alternatively you can telephone the surgery number 013398 82221 and an answering machine will give the out-of-hours number.
You will be given advice or refer you to an out-of-hours doctor or nurse practitioner. Please do not turn-up at the out-of-hours centre with calling NHS 24 first.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
